Your voter online or mailed registration application must be received on or by October 25, 2021 to vote in the 2021 General Election. Washington allows for same-day voter registration in person on Election Day.

Eligibility

In order to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old on or before Election Day, and a legal resident of Washington State for at least 30 days.

  • In order to register to vote you cannot be disqualified from voting due to a court order or under Department of Corrections supervision for a Washington felony conviction. Deadline

The deadline to register online or by mail for the 2021 General Election is October 25, 2021. The in-person registration deadline is November 2, 2021 (same-day voter registration).

Vote-By-Mail Practices

Washington uses a vote-by-mail system. As such, if you are registered to vote in Washington, there is no need to request a ballot. Click here to access Washington’s Special Absentee Ballot Application Form.

Early Voting
