Your online or mailed-in voter registration application must be received on or by October 26, 2020 in order to be eligible to vote in the 2020 General Election. Washington allows for same-day voter registration, meaning that you are able to register to vote up until the close of polls on Election Day.

Eligibility

In order to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old on or before Election Day, and a legal resident of Washington State for at least 30 days.

  • In order to register to vote you cannot be disqualified from voting due to a court order or under Department of Corrections supervision for a Washington felony conviction. Deadline

The deadline to register online or by mail for the 2020 General Election is October 26, 2020. The in-person registration deadline is November 3, 2020 (same-day voter registration).
