Your online or mailed-in voter registration application must be received on or by October 26, 2020 in order to be eligible to vote in the 2020 General Election. Washington allows for same-day voter registration, meaning that you are able to register to vote up until the close of polls on Election Day.

In order to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old on or before Election Day, and a legal resident of Washington State for at least 30 days.

  • In order to register to vote you cannot be disqualified from voting due to a court order or under Department of Corrections supervision for a Washington felony conviction. The deadline to register online or by mail for the 2020 General Election is October 26, 2020. The in-person registration deadline is November 3, 2020 (same-day voter registration).
